Warroad to Young's Bay(about 1.5 hours):
- From Hwy 11 and Hwy 313 (Dairy Queen) drive north on Hwy 313 (aka Cedar Ave NW) to the border crossing with Canada (6.2 miles).
- Continue on Manitoba 12 to Hwy 308 (Shell gas station) (13.1 miles).
Buy your Canadian fishing license at the Shell gas station if you need one.
- Turn left onto Manitoba 308, which will turn to gravel by the turn to Moose Lake (21.9 miles).
- Continue on Manitoba 308 to Manitoba 525 (see the sign for Northwest Angle and Islands on your right)(5.1 miles).
- Turn right onto Manitoba 525 and continue to US Border Sign (6.1 miles).
- Continue on Hwy 330 to Hwy 331 (7.8 miles).
If you have not used the online app to check into the US, use the remote facility at "Jim's Corner" to do so.
- Turn right on Hwy 331 (aka Dawson's Rd NW) to go to Young's Bay (3.8 miles).

Roseau to Young's Bay(about 1.5 hours):
- From Hwy 11 and Hwy 310 drive north on Hwy 310 to the border crossing with Canada (10.5 miles).
- Continue from the border on Manitoba 310 to Manitoba 12 (2.5 miles).
- Turn right onto Manitoba 12 and continue to Manitoba 308 (Shell gas station) (5.8 miles).

- Turn left onto Manitoba 308, which will turn to gravel by the turn to Moose Lake (21.9 miles).
- Continue on Manitoba 308 to Manitoba 525 (see the sign for Northwest Angle and Islands on your right)(5.1 miles).
- Turn right onto Manitoba 525 and continue to US Border Sign (6.1 miles).
- Continue on Hwy 330 to Hwy 331 (7.8 miles).
